Meet Tauri. She’s a five-year-old English Bulldog who was rescued by Bulldog Haven NW, that wonderful organization of people who rescue and provide a safe place for English and French Bulldogs.

And through Bulldog Haven NW, Tauri was found a new home, which she just loves and adores. I know this because Tauri told me so and because I met her loving and adoring parents first hand.

Tauri was modeling for me today for new promotional materials to be used by BHNW, so you might be seeing a lot more of her (America’s Next Top Dog Model) in the very near future.

The most lovable and adorable French Bulldog named Bruce, along with his foster brother Thug Bug, where by yesterday for their own mini private photo shoot.

Here’s what Bruce has to say…

My name is Bruce and as you can see from my photos I’m a handsome tan French Bulldog. I’m around two years old. One of my favorite things to do is snuggle, so that’s one of my MUST in my new owner. I’m crate trained and I know how to do sit, down and stay.

I do have a tendency to be dog aggressive, but I will warm up to other household dogs once I know they are part of my pack. I do fine around cats and I’m not sure about kids.

I will need some surgery in my future for my knees. I’m doing fine now, but in another year or so, the surgery will be require for my health.

Thug Bug, and his foster brother Bruce, stopped by the studio this morning for their own private photo shoot. At first Thug wasn’t so keen on being photographed, or me but after a bit he warmed up and let loose in front of the camera.

This is what Thug has to say…

Hey there, my name is Thug Bug. I’m a 2 year old Frenchie-Chihuahua mix. I’m all of 17 pounds, just a small little thing compared to everyone I’ve seen at Aunt Natalie’s.

Although I’m a little scared of people at first, once I’ve decided you’re an ok person, I warm right up. I’m ok with other dogs, not sure about cats, and ok with kids as long as they know how to play with small dogs. I’m very healthy, updated on shots, and microchipped. I’m quite the “guard dog” and will let you know about any little sound I hear so I’ll need a HOME, not an apartment…the neighbors wouldn’t like me much. ;o)

Bulldog Haven NW Rescue Booth | 128th & 129th Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show

It was my great honor yesterday to help support Bulldog Haven NW Rescue Booth at the Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show.

I had the best time photographing some of the super model Bulldogs (not to name drop but…Bam, Bella, Stitch, Diego, and Abbey, just to name a few) working the Photo Booth there yesterday.

It’s so wonderful to see how much the dogs in our lives touch us and they do make a difference, for the better.

Seattle Kennel Club | DOG SHOW | Bulldog Haven NW

For all you dog lovers out there, the Seattle Kennel Club DOG SHOW is this weekend March 13^th and 14^th at Qwest Field Event Center. In conjunction with the Best in Show awards, where over 2000 dogs compete, they will also be hosting an Obedience, Rally, and Agility Trails (which I’m really excited to see because Milka and I start Agility class next week!).

Bulldog Haven NW will have a booth upstairs open from 9am to 4pm both days and I’ll be volunteering there this Saturday, March 13^th helping them out at their “Bulldog Photo Booth.” So stop by and get your photo taken with some of the lovable bulldogs that will be there. We hope to see you there!
