WEDDING OF STEPHANIE & JUSTIN | 10.18.2008 | Allyn Historic Church

I traveled to Allyn, Washington this weekend for the wedding of Stephanie and Justin. Their ceremony was held at what locals affectionately call “the little white church by the side of the road” or otherwise known as Allyn Historic Church. This church is TINY!Their reception followed across the Case Inlet from Allyn at the Victor Improvement Club, which is a Hall that was built in 1932 by volunteers of the tiny seaside community of Victor at the cost of $300. Gayle Orth Catering provided both good food and the wedding cake.

I know that Stephanie and Justin expressed to me that they were on a tight wedding budget so it was inspiring for me to see how they where able to create a day full of charm and class that they shared and celebrated with family and friends.

Congratulations you two!

Built in 1909, the Allyn Historic Church is the town's oldest building, lovingly maintained by the North Bay Historical Society.

Isn't it super good luck to have a ladybug land on your wedding dress?

WEDDING OF AMY & JASON | 10.11.2008 | Edmonds Conference Center

To Have and To Hold. Amy and Jason exchanged their wedding vows yesterday in the presence of their family and friends at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Lynnwood, WA.  The weather decided to play nice and instead of the strong winds and rain that brought in October last weekend it was a nice sunny but chilly day.
The celebration continued with a reception that was held at the Edmonds Conference Center where good food, heart felt toasts and lots of dancing took place.
Congrats you two and I hope you’re enjoying the honeymoon!

Thanks goes out to Jason and all his groomsmen for all being such sports for going along with me on this shot.

What really happens behind the scene before the ceremony…
