WEDDING OF SARAH & COBEY | 08.23.2008 | Blessed Sacrament Church

This is a story about how a beautiful dancer like Sarah and a dashing hockey player like Cobey found each other and within each other love. About how their wedding day was right out of a fairytale book. About how for the day, the hockey player was a knight and the dancer was a princesses. There were swords and knights; there were fair ladies in-waiting, ballerinas and castles made of ice. Stuff fairytale weddings are made of.

The ceremony was held at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Seattle, followed by the reception at the Lake Washington Ball at the Bellevue’s Red Lion Hotel.

Videography coverage by the dynamic duo, Danielle and Casey, of MindCastle. They were hands down awesome to work with and they were kind enough to give me a quick sneak preview of some footage of Sarah and Cobey’s first dance. WOW. It was amazing. Besides the fact Sarah and Cobey’s first dance was probably the best I’ve seen at a wedding, the footage was amazing. I’m sold on having them at my wedding now.

I was truly fortunate to have Erik Seo work as my second shooter for the day. Erik’s specialty is ski and action sports photography, which really came in handy since Cobey, and most of his groomsmen are hockey players.

Nice work! Is the shoe shot and the shot after it a tilt shift, Photoshop or just a really fast aperture?
